My name is Donna Berent. I'm a born and raised Sydney-sider with an Italian background. I'm a Mother of two boys who I love dearly and devoted Wife to my Husband David. I love all types of food except chilli and coffee, which makes no sense (I know) being Italian.

I'm a pre and post-natal Doula. My passion for positive birth stories came after the birth of my 2nd son. I have always been passionate about the rights of women so when I became pregnant, I thought, why not put all the fearful energy into researching about all things birth and changing the trend. On top of my list was hiring a Doula and little did I know I'd become one myself and support so many wonderful people. 

Service Promises

 - Unbiased support – I will support you wherever and        however you choose to give birth
 - I work for you – I’m the midpoint between your
    midwife and the doctor, solely there to meet your 
    needs in labour not provide medical advice ​
 - Continuity of care – I will come see you 3 times                before baby is born, I will be there for your birth
    and visit you twice after baby is born.​

 - Knowledge – provide a different perspective and       
    information based on experience.
​ - Spinning babies Techniques – Techniques to support
    baby being in the right position, positioning to get     
    baby into the pelvis, exercises to do every day.    
 - HypnoBirthing Course – 5-week course that empowers
​    and educated families for a positive birth experience.

I went onto having two of the most beautiful births I imagined I would have. It wasn't until hearing many negative experiences and having my best friend mentioned in a passing comment "why don't you become a Doula, if anyone can do it's you". That was the start of Beauty in Birth and my passion for helping form beautiful birth experiences.
